Hi I am a professional alcoholic from Poland
I am very hard to impress when it comes to alcoholic beverages but last Saturday I had an outstanding experience at this establishment. I consumed the Nicolson's pale ale and Hepcat (in large quantities), which suggested by an outstanding employee that I believe was called Jessica. Such an experience stands to be truly unforgettable. It is my firm belief that Jessica should be running all Brewery's in the UK.

Fantastic traditional pub in the heart of Edinburgh, great atmosphere, excellent location and if we are looking for a few drinks on a weekend we often visit this pub/restaurant, I haven't eaten here but the food that comes out looks awesome ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Personal amable y atento. En la parte de abajo del local se pude picar y tomar algo. Para comidas y cenas, hay que subir arriba. Probamos las 'pies' de costilla y de filete (con puré de patata y zanahoria) que están muy ricas y son recomendables. En el menú hay otras cosas típicas como el fish and chips y el salmón que estaban frescos y muy jugosos. Nos recomendaron también la sopa Cullen skink y nos gustó probar el cranachan de postre. En cuanto a precio está bien, medio- alto: una ronda de cervezas, un starter a compartir, tres platos principales y dos postres salimos a unas 30£ por persona.

영국 음식이 맛이 없다는 편견을 깨주는 식당이였어요. 생각했던 것보다 맛있었고 스코틀랜드 음식을 맛보기에 좋은 장소인 것 같아요. 맥주나 주류를 곁들이기 좋은 식당이에요.

Love the new look of the bar and it’s great to see the Landlord pulling a pint behind the bar. Cask ale was a little cold for me but a great experience all round
